Iain Hunter is the newly appointed principal trombone of the Mexico City Philharmonic. Prior to that he served as principal trombone in the Queretaro Philharmonic 2003-2005 and again 2011-2013, and the Sinaloa Symphony Orchestra of  Arts based in Culiacan Sinaloa 2005-2011. Iain Hunter now teaches at the School of Music: Life and Movement OllinYolitzli in Mexico City.

A native of Brazil, Dr. Rafael Videira holds degrees from the University of Oregon and University of New Mexico. He has had Suzuki training with Susan Kempter, Susan Baer, Betsy Stuen-Walker, William Preucil, Sr. and a workshop with the late John Kendall. His publications include articles, videos and method books with the American Suzuki Journal, SAA’s Parents as Partners Online, and the Yost Family Trust. He currently teaches at the Suzuki Music Schools of Westport & Orange, in the USA.

Besides holding a Masters degree in string pedagogy, Sigrid registered long term Suzuki training in violin books 1-10 with Susan Kempter and viola books 1-7 with Elizabeth Stuen-Walker through the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
